Breeding Program

At RecordBuck we have a large scientific breeding program providing superior quality does and bucks. Our goal is nothing less than to produce the biggest whitetails possible. Bucks and does are released into our intensively managed pastures for hunting. We do not sell deer commercially. We hunt them. Currently, we are selectively breeding over 400 does in confinement pastures to world class breeder bucks.

Our whitetail hunts are second to none. You may be in a prickly pear patch rattling up a huge South Texas whitetail buck, in the sunset at one of our many food plots, or in a blind on a frosty South Texas morning. Just remember there is no better place to be than RecordBuck Ranch.

NOTES TO ALL HUNTERS:

• 50% deposit per hunter to secure date
• Prices based on Safari Club Gross Score
• Any whitetail grossing 220 SCI or above to be negotiated.
• Additional whitetail does $125.00 each
• Guide determines deer to be harvested
• All non-hunting guests $150.00/day. Due upon confirmation.
• Guide and cook tip not included in price of hunt.
• Whitetail deer hunting dates October through February subject to availability.
• Semi-guided hunts mean hunters are taken to blinds and stay there until picked up by guide
• Arrangements can be made for Recordbuck Taxidermy work.
• All hunters need to bring appropriate hunting licenses. Acquire ahead of arrival.
• Bring coolers for transportation of meat
• Bring your binoculars
• Sight in rifles prior to arrival , but we have a range
• Bring all ammunition
• Bring all personal items
• NO GUARANTEES but to guarantee a good time
• A wounded deer is a dead deer. Wounded or lost charge is 100% of Trophy Price. No exceptions
• According to a gratuity webpage, it is customary to tip 15-20% of the price of the hunt.
• Prices subject to change and availability
• Deposits lock in prices.
• All Hunters Must Have A Hunting License but with the State of Texas DMLP permits you will not need a State Tag.
• Cancellation Policy: No refunds given, but credit is given to rebook within one year. $50 rebooking fee.
